Hello,
My goal last week was to be gentle and kind.
I have decided for humility reasons that I will not make a public laundry list of all the gentle and kind things that I did over the week. I have journaled them for my own use, and I would suggest this as a means of keeping track of your progress if you've decided to take this challenge with me.
Here are some suggestions if you are struggling with being gentle and kind:
1.) Be more aware of your responses in conversations and how it will affect the other person's feelings
2.) Do something that pushes you out of your personal comfort zone for the gain of someone else, for example, one of my friends last week bought a strangers meal when he came up short of cash.
This week my goal is to be more graceful and sincere. I will update you next Thursday about my progress!

Sarah Swafford and The Virtue Challenge.
Hello reader!
First, I should let you know that this project would not be possible without Sarah Swafford. Sarah Swafford runs emotionalvirtue.com, and before you read this you should definitely check her site out. Her website can tell you all about her and the amazing things she has done. You will find this challenge as well as much more thought provoking content on her website.
Essentially, Sarah has made a master list of the "Simply Irresistible Woman". (Once again, this is all straight from Sarah herself-please check her out here. .
Basically, my goal will to be to work through one column at a time, starting with feminine, then confident, and finally virtuous. For example: this week my goal will be to be more gentle & kind, while next week my goal will be to be more graceful and sincere. I will jot down some goals ahead of time and try and execute those goals. I will also live in the moment and seize opportunities I find to be gentle and kind and jot these down as well.
There are a few reasons why I have taken on this goal. The first is to be my best self. The second is to be able to present my best self to the person who is to become my spouse. The last, and most important, is to honor God with my word and deed.
Here is the master list. Those of you reading, feel free to start this journey with me. You can pick it up at anytime, or repeat it as often as your heart desires.
